The Ukrainian School of Political Studies (USPS / Українська Школа політичних студій, УШПС) has announced the acquisition of a 100% stake in Osnovy Publishing. The full ownership rights were jointly acquired by the Agency of Legislative Initiatives, its head Svitlana Matviyenko, and graduates of USPS Andriy Vyshnevskyi and Anastasia Borodina.

Established in 2005 after the Orange Revolution, USPS actively promotes democratic values in society and preserves Ukrainian cultural, historical, and social heritage. In this context, the School considers it a great honor to contribute to the further development of Osnovy Publishing, founded in 1992 by Solomiia Pavlychko and Bohdan Kravchenko.

"The new owners of Osnovy Publishing express gratitude to USPS graduate Dana Pavlychko (class of 2017) for the new horizons she opened for the publishing house during her tenure as its owner and leader over the past decade," reads the statement.

The acquisition of Osnovy opens new perspectives for expanding publishing activities and strengthening the publisher's position as a center for cultural and intellectual initiatives in Ukraine. This step demonstrates USPS's strategic commitment to supporting and developing Ukrainian literary and intellectual heritage.
