Kateryna Lysovenko, Altar of my Dream World, 2020

Voloshyn Gallery presents the Online Viewing Room, a tool that enables to create presentations of works by a single artist or a group of artists that can be viewed within the website. The first online viewing room is represented by the latest works "Altar of my Dream World" and "Garden My Dream World" by artist Kateryna Lysovenko. You can visit the exhibition by following the link

The artistic language of the artist began with the inheritance of the socialist realist tradition, later transformed into a process of active context redefining. In her practice, Kateryna addresses the research on the topic of power and ideology, as well as the transition from the Soviet to the modern.

During her studies at the academy, her work on canvas did not give the desired result, so she works primarily on paper ever since. Kateryna Lisovenko is an artist who received a classical art education first at the Grekov Odessa Art School, then at NAOMA, and at the same time graduated from the "Contemporary Art" course at KAMA.

Voloshyn Gallery fosters the integration of Ukrainian art into global cultural processes, representing its artists at international art fairs and shows in Europe and the US. Voloshyn Gallery aims to discover exceptional talent, with particular focus on emerging and mid-career artists. Over the course of the last two years, the gallery has participated in Volta NY, Volta Basel, viennacontemporary, Dallas Art Fair, Pulse Art Fair, Nada Miami, The Armony Show and Untitled.
