I was a little concerned about the stopping power of ceramic pads on such a heavy vehicle since I've heard ceramics do sacrifice some grip for less brake dust and longer life. But this was not the case when it came time to test drive the Deville. These pads were a massive improvement over whatever pieces of chunk were installed on the rear brakes before. These ceramic pads grab much quicker and I feel safer with them. Definitely worth the cost to me to have "upgraded" brakes.
